On Saturday June 4th a charity fundraising night took place for the Owen McVeigh Foundation. It was a fantastic night where over £20,000 was raised in total ! Peter McDowall did a superbly professional job of hosting the evening and Darren Farley ran through his hilarious routines and also hosted some of the charity competitions/raffles etc throughout the evening. Jamie Webster did a cracking set on the acoustic guitar and some great music from our DJs Chris Forshaw and Ste McLennan. Overall, it was a truly special night shared by some wonderful and generous people. Pictures of the event can be found below including cheques being presented to Mark McVeigh by Kevin Paddy Atkinson from IWA and Mark Muirhead from Scouser Tommy Liverpool fans forum, some of the lucky prizewinners and people having some of the great fun that was had on the night. Well done and thank you to all who contributed to this wonderful event that raised a huge amount of money that will go to helping sick children and their families. Special thanks to Cardinal Heenan High School for allowing us to host this special event.
